Week 2: Choose the Best Search for Your Information Need

Hi everybody,

 I am fond of google search engine. My students are familiar with google as the only search engine in the world.  It is our favorite search engine. I was amazed to see the list of search engines mentioned in "choose the best search for your information need". They are very interesting and useful for both teachers and students. Here is a list of my favourite websites from the list mentioned:


iseek-Education:
It is a useful websites if your are looking for any educational topics related to your teaching or classroms. It will direct you to other links to your topic or some topic are presented in the form of PDF so you can read them , or print them. Go for it by clicking the following website:

WiKipedia:
It is a useful websites for both teachers and students. It directs you immediately to your topic and provides you with many information. It also provides you with other links for furthur information as well as subtopics.  Here is the link to the website:

    I like the search engines you have mentioned on your blog, specially the Doaj website which serves our academic purpose well.Again ,the Wikipedia is also great; it gives all round information about the related word.I don't think anybody would dislike You Tube but my slow and metered internet connection forbades me to visit it frequently.I would like to further explore each and every search engine listed on Noodle .
